Deferred Compensation


Through CCM’s deferred compensation plan, employees that have made at least $150,000 annually in the prior plan year and who are considered highly compensated employees, can defer payment of compensation to a future time. This allows participants to gain more control over how they’re being taxed, how and when distributions are received, and how contributions are allocated and may grow (similar pre-tax experience to a 401(k) plan). 

  • Eligible employees can only enroll or make changes to their deferred compensation plan during the annual open enrollment window in December.
  • Please note that deferred compensation open enrollment is passive and employees will need to make an active election to either remove or modify their election.
